Charge Cars revealed the 1967 Electric Mustang with an aggressive design. It is based on the 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback model. Charge Cars says: “67 Electric Mustang is not another copy, not a Restomod or not a redesigned one. It is completely Brand New.” It has been called the reborn of the Legend.
The 1967 Electric Mustang was officially unveiled today at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. You can see it later at the Los Angeles Auto Show. This 67 Electric Mustang will be an unfamiliar experience for those of you who love classic muscle cars with the smell of gasoline and a screaming V8 engine. It carries many new interior and exterior features in the year 2023.

What is worth appreciating is that the exterior and interior finishes have been designed with a new look that is extremely similar to the original iconic 1967 Mustang Fastback. Another thing to say is that this is a limited edition electric automobile which is limited to only 499 units globally. We will mention its price below.

When it comes to the front design, its wide front grill in the middle of the LED headlights on both sides has given a redesigned-classic look. The specialty is that the logo of Charge Cars has been placed instead of the Mustang Horse. Strong yet lightweight new composite panels don’t distort the look of the iconic 67 Mustang.

When viewed from the side, the shark shape of 67 Fastback has given for this Electric Mustang in the same way. The other eye-catching feature is the wheels. It comes with Michelin Tyre Technology and exclusive alloy wheel designs.

When it comes to the rear design, very similar to the 67 Fastback but given a fresh look. The redesigned three vertical rows LED tail lights on both sides enhances its rear appearance. The tailpipe-free skid plate created with a simple design makes this 1967 Mustang look fully electric.

When I see the interior by opening the 1967 Electric Mustang’s conventional doors, the fully digital speedometer is directly in front of the steering wheel. Although the steering wheel has a classic look, the other features are not. The interior gets a completely luxury-sporty look. There is a tablet-type massive touchscreen on the top of the center console.

1967 Electric Mustang is a 2-door, 2-seater electric sports car. Its entire finish, including the dashboard and seats, is covered with aniline leather. But they say that the customers can prepare their own bespoke interior design. Also, customers have the opportunity to arrange the seats in leather or non-leather.

How about 1967 Electric Mustang’s performance? It’s fully electric and there are four electric motors placed on each axle. Two e-motors were placed on the front powertrain and another two e-motors were placed on the rear powertrain. It is equipped with a four-independent-wheel drive system (4iWD). It is very different from the 4WD system. It allows the wheels connected to each motor to drive independently. This system offers a superior driving experience.

As the prime mover, four electric motors produce a maximum 536Hp and 1520 Nm of toque to bring the power 1967 Electric Mustang needs. These four electric motors are powered by a floor-mounted 63Kwh battery pack. Charge Cars says that the 1967 Electric Mustang takes just 3.9 seconds to hit 0-60 Mph. They recommend 200 miles per single charging.
- Peak Power – 400 Kw
- DC Charging – 50 Kw

How about 1967 Electric Mustang’s price? 67 Electric Mustang is a limited edition electric-sport car. Charge Cars says that only 499 cars will be produced. The other special thing to say is that this is hand-built, and production is done by special Automobile Technicians. The price of the 1967 All-electric Mustang starts at $460,000. You will cost extra for the other modifications, changes, and add-ons.
