The 1967 Ford Mustang Eleanor Tribute Editions are designed as a tribute to the original Eleanor Mustang from the “Gone in 60 seconds” movie, and they’re special runs of aftermarket cars. And also, 77 Mustang Tribute Editions have been sold in the last 5 years. The highest recorded sale for a 1967 Ford Mustang Eleanor Tribute Edition was $852,500 on January 11, 2020.
This hand-built 1967 Ford Mustang Tribute Edition was built by one of only two shops authorized to build them. According to the Barrett-Jackson: “This unique build started as a true factory 1967 Mustang Fastback, and was fully-recreated with Ford-licensed sheet metal before being transformed into an Eleanor Tribute Edition from new Muscle car parts.”
This hand-built 1967 Ford Mustang Eleanor Tribute Edition is powered by a special turned and modern 5.0L Coyote V8 engine with a 6-speed manual transmission from Ford Performance. The V8 engine produces 475 hp to bring the power this Tribute Edition needs. Its exterior-sheet metal is covered by pepper Gray paint with Black LeMans stripes, and the interior is finished with black color.
It includes Eleanor billet grilles, driving lights, PIAA center fog lights, billet hood pins and wires, wheel flares, upper and lower side scoops, side ground effects, a functional stainless-steel side exhaust, a Lecarra 18-stud wood and aluminum steering wheel, official Eleanor dash gauges, and Go-Baby-Go shift knob. Its 17×8 front wheels and 17×9.5 rear wheels are covered with 245/45R17 and 275/40R17 tires, respectively.
It also gets a decklid with a spoiler, sequential taillights, quarter extension, emblems on the dash, fenders and rear body panel, lower side black stripes, aluminum door mirrors, and more correct-Eleanor components. This 1967 Ford Mustang Eleanor Tribute Edition also includes some optional improvements: Adjustable Coilover shocks and 13-inch Wilwood Disc brakes, 4-link rear suspension with power rack and pinion steering, a modular 9-inch rear-end with 3.73 gears, and chassisworks’ TCI weld-in front clip and frame connectors with independent front suspension.
This 1967 Ford Mustang Eleanor Tribute Edition includes a full-colored build-book that contains a “Gone in 60 seconds” movie poster, autographs and photos from Nicholas Cage, an official-licensed certificate signed by Denice Shakarian Halicki, and start-to-finish info, and photos.
