Toyota states that the Front-wheel-drive (FWD) model achieves an estimated fuel economy rating of 57 mpg. Along with the 2023 Prius, Toyota is also introducing a 220-hp plug-in hybrid Toyota Prius Prime model. But the 2023 Toyota Prius Prime should be discussed separately.
How about 2023 Toyota Prius design?
When it comes to the front design, the 2023 Prius has an attractive front-body design and a LED headlight design that is completely different from the previous models. Its low-front body design help in better road stability.

When viewed from the side, the 2023 Prius gets a brand-new side profile with new sporty-styling side skirts. 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels with an exclusive design make its side profile self-sufficient. When I see the interior by opening 2023 Toyota Prius’ conventional doors, the fully-digital speedometer is directly in front of the steering wheel. It gets softex and leather trimmed-heated steering wheel. There is a large touchscreen in the middle of the dashboard. The LE Grade and XLE Grade includes an 8-inch audio multimedia touch screen, while the Limited Grade on the other hand includes a 12.3-inch audio multimedia touch screen. This system comes with “Hey Toyota” sound movement feature also.

The LE Grade and XLE Grade include 8-way power driver seats, while the Limited Grade on the other hand comes with driver passenger heated and ventilated seats with memory. The touch screen includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with Wifi connection.
How about the 2023 Toyota Prius’ engine, transmission and performance?
A 2.0L inline-four engine with continuously variable-speed automatic transmission and a 222V Lithium-ion battery which is placed under the rear seats is connected to the 5th Gen hybrid powertrain. As a result, Toyota states that the zero-emission electric range has increased by more than 50%. Front-wheel drive (FWD) is standard.

When it comes to the front-wheel drive mode, It takes 7.2 seconds to reach 0-60 mph with 194 hp, while the All-wheel drive model, on the other hand, takes 7.0 seconds to reach 0-60 mph with 196 hp. A high output IPM ( Internal Permanent Magnet) motor has been used for the rear motor in the All-wheel drive (AWD) model. It allows for less vibration driving, higher stability, and better performance. The 2023 Toyota Prius is offered in three driving modes: Normal, Eco, and Sport.
